Psychometrics help identify quality candidates

I have just read the short article by the Recruiter on how a report from The Kelly OGC RPO Report found that the amount of candidates applying for job are so high that it is causing recruiters to miss quality candidates. The article states “The sheer numbers of candidates who respond to job postings today make it very difficult to effectively review, screen and qualify candidates in a timely and efficient manner.”
To me, the next step forward for recruiters to take is clear – psychometric assessments! Using psychometrics assessments can reduce the size of a candidate pool effectively and efficiently in a timely manner. It will help recruiters to make informed decisions about potential candidates which are not subjective. Recruiters will automatically be able to identify quality candidates and take them through to the next stage of the recruitment process.
